How to help

Net4kids project sponsors actively choose who and what they support. You give a water well to that village, a teacher to that school, or shelter and schooling to this street child. On this website, you can see how the well, the teacher or street child is doing. Twice per year, you get a personal progress report via e-mail, detailing the exact effects of your donation.

This site contains extensive information about the projects we support and the help needed to support them. Take your time to read it through. But you can also look specifically for a project that best fits your interests or budget. To do this, use our project selector at the right side of this page. There are always projects that face unexpected costs. Or projects that need a little something extra to get started. That’s why we have Max’s Magic Money Fund. A flexible reserve for aid projects that could do with some extra support.  Give whatever you want As a sponsor of Max’s Magic Money Fund, you determine how much you want to give. No minimum, no maximum. This makes Max’s Magic Money Fund more flexible than a ‘normal’ project. All donations are welcome. As a sponsor, of course you will also be informed of what happens with the funds in Max’s Magic Money Fund. Just as with regular projects, you will receive a personal report by e-mail detailing every cent spent on the projects helped thanks to the fund.

All of Net4kids’ child aid projects are split into different needs you can sponsor. A school needs books, for example, but also a teacher and a classroom. The contributions needed for project needs vary from  € 12 to € 13,000. With a group, sponsoring substantial portions of a project comes in reach more easily. Join forces with your colleagues, your neighbours, or your volleyball team, for example.

Those who wish to make a tax-deductible donation to Net4kids should contact Notariskantoor Spier & Hazenberg. They have reduced their fee especially for Net4kids and will draw up a deed of donation for just € 100.00 (excluding VAT). You do not need to turn up in person. With a signed power of attorney and a copy of the relevant pages of your passport the deed can also be drawn up in your absence. Project description Calcutta alone is home to over 100,000 street children. Particularly the girls are in great danger. Thanks to Net4kids sponsors, we can give some of them access to housing, healthcare and education within one of Calcutta’s best schools. Integration with normal students plays an important part. These children, often from the highest castes, give the street children one-on-one lessons. This allows the street children to make up for lost time and find a place in regular schools. The girls learn with and from each other. This contributes to a new society with better understanding between castes on several different levels. How can you help? For a sum of € 450 per year, one street child can be helped within this unique system. It is also possible to support one child for several years, or even adopt an entire shelter. Help becomes tangible and transparent We make sure that you are informed of the development of the child you support twice per year. You will receive progress reports, school reports and sometimes photographs, drawings or short letters via e-mail and internet.

Reports differ per project. When sponsoring children you get individual child reports.
