Net4kids represents a donation model that makes aid personal, tangible and accountable.
With us, you know what you’re giving, to whom or what and where. The internet is key in this. You can use this site to directly select a project, and you will recieve one-on-one feedback about it. Child aid is no longer anonymous and distant, but up close and personal. Net4kids is very transparent in costs: 100% of the projectneed goes directly to the project, to the children. On top of that we ask for an extra 10% to be able to continue our work.
With Net4kids, you know what you’re giving. The difference lies in the combination of:
1. Select your own project online.
2. 100% of your donation goes to your project.
3. Your personal Mynet4kids page with your project |

1. Select your own project
At Net4kids, we carefully select unique child aid projects. We offer these projects, often split into needs, via this website. Clear project overviews and an easy to use selection module allow you to decide what you want to give. Click on if you want to read more on our
project selection criteria and on
how to support a project.
2. 100% of your donation goes to your project
Every last cent of your donation goes to the project of your choosing. Overhead costs are not deducted. Instead, we ask for a transparent 10% contribution to our continuity on top of the project donation. Voluntarily for consumers, fixed vor organisations. The rest of the organisational costs are born by organisation investors who provide a contribution in the form of money, goods or services. This means everyone involved knows what they’re giving, and to whom. Read more about
our organisational structure.
3. Your own MyNet4kids page
With your own MyNet4kids page, you can follow and share the progress of your project. Twice per year you will receive a personal progress report by e-mail or via the web. This lets you see the difference your support makes.

Aid should be personal, tangible and clear. It is what sponsors desire. It is what the children deserve. And that’s what aid organisations must live up to.
Accountability is central to everything we do.
Our donation model evolves around accountability and so does our organisation. You have to know where your money is going, and what it is accomplishing. Businesslike and clear. With Net4kids this line of thought is reflected in a number of ways: |

We offer involvement
Many different aid organisations are active helping children. That’s a good thing. With Net4kids the difference is in the level of involvement. The involvement of sponsors, of partners, and our own. We take that very seriously and create involvement in a number of ways:
- Project partners are given financial guarantees required to start their support before the project is funded.
- Sponsors are given clear insight into the plans, needs and results of projects.
- We use online reporting and regular meetings within our own organisation as well. We don’t have permanent offices, but rather work as a virtual organisation with teams of committed specialists.
Net4kids is a relatively new player in the charity field. We think differently. We work differently. And everything we do is geared towards creating maximal accountability and involvement.
In order to maintain clarity, we explicitly split the various activities’ cash flows. Since late 2005, the various entities have been divided into three different foundations. Each of the foundations files an annual report – with the Net4kids Aid Foundation taking centre stage, of course.
All child aid projects and project donations are the sole responsibility of the
Net4kids Aid Foundation.
Net4kids Organisation includes all infrastructural and backoffice activities, and facilitates for the Aid Foundation as required. The organisation is supported by its own sponsors, who provide a valuable contribution in the form money, goods and services.
The
Net4kids Continuity Fund guarantees that project funds are covered, and supplements organisational costs where needed. The required funds come from donations to the fund, and from returns from (temporary) capital made available to the Net4kids Continuity Fund for that purpose.
The foundations are closely linked, but work as strictly independent units, each with its own activities and sponsors.
