In order to handle further Net4kids growth, further automation is essential. The renewal of the site took into account the need to report on projects and donations for administrative purposes.

In order to streamline the reporting process for donors, the website's administrative system will be structured so it becomes the central source for this information. To this end, a link will also be made with Salesforce.com, the CRM package Net4kids uses for donor administration, among other things.

Because the focus in 2007 was on the development and building of the new website, and in preparing the desired changes, not many concrete changes have been realised. These steps will be taken in 2008.
An intranet is in place to support internal communication within the Net4kids team. This had major limitations, because changes can only be made by a webmaster. A new intranet was designed in 2007, which will go live in early 2008. This new system allows team members to add information themselves. Its usefulness is expected to increase dramatically.
