The website is also a key component of Net4kids' success. The site renewal is seen as a very important step in the organisation's further development.

The site's role in the selection of a project and payment is also growing. Thanks to new technology, and of course the improved web environment, online donations have increased dramatically:

67% of all online donations made in 2007 were made in the final quarter, after the launch of the new website. Additionally, donors remain free to select projects and let Net4kids know via a message that they wish to sponsor them.

With the switch to a new web host the decision was made to use a different software package to record visitor statistics. This means an overall comparison with previous years is impossible. Statistics will be reported again starting in 2008.
