Our new website was launched in September 2007. This brings large-scale campaigns within reach once again. Given the limited manpower and the inward focus in 2007, these opportunities were only grasped in the second half of the year.
In the final quarter of 2007, Net4kids held a special Christmas campaign via the website. The Christmas event pages were viewed about 600 times during the period it was active, out of a total of 4,115 pageviews at that time. It is impossible to indicate how many of the donations during that period may be attributed directly to the campaign. What can be said is that online donations in December represent 67% of total donations for the year. It is estimated that the campaign delivered between ten and fifteen new donors – although the lack of unique source codes makes it impossible to attribute precisely.
