Free publicity is the most important way to draw the attention of new donors. In total, Net4kids appeared in the media 41 times in 2007. This is a major drop compared to the 77 appearances in the prior year, which is largely due to the organisation's inward focus and the minimal amount of news we generated on our own.

However, publicity per press release was higher – on average, a press release led to 5.1 mentions in the media; in 2006, they led to 4.6 mentions.
