Joint ventures
In addition to relationships with organisation sponsors and team members, Net4kids is part of a number of joint ventures that make a significant contribution to supporting our processes and broadening the organisation's knowledge, particularly in the field of child aid.
Wilde Ganzen
The most important joint venture for Net4kids is the partnership with Wilde Ganzen. A renowned and very experienced party, Wilde Ganzen handles the entire project contracting and monitoring process on behalf of Net4kids. In return, Net4kids raises funds for a number of Wilde Ganzen projects.
Change for Children
Together with four other Dutch aid organisations - International Child Support (ICS), Zeister Zendingsgenootschap (ZZg), Wilde Ganzen and KidsRights – Net4kids is part of a cooperative venture Change for Children that aims to fund projects that benefit children, and stimulate child rights and emancipation within these projects.
On 1 January 2007, our Action for Children project was launched (also known as Jonge Ganzen+). In this programme, Wilde Ganzen offers all of its fundraising expertise to local organisations in the South. Net4kids shows them how to use internet marketing, and KidsRights trains the organisations in event marketing. Net4kids shows the local organisations how they can use the transparent donation and business model developed by Net4kids, and helps them to set it up.
In 2007, Net4kids trained CESE, our Brazilian partner. Additionally, together with Wilde Ganzen and KidsRights, we selected partners Smile in India and Soul City in South Africa after careful on-site research. In October/November, three Smile staff members followed an intensive training in the Netherlands, jointly given by us.
Online Social Marketplaces Network
After initial exploratory contacts in 2006, Global Giving from the United States and GreaterGood SA from South Africa invited Net4kids to become a member of the Online Social Marketplaces Network in 2007. This is a network of international organisations with the same identity as Net4kids. The foundations for cooperation are sharing knowledge and experience and exchanging the infrastructure preconditions required. We attended the annual meeting of the network in Washington DC, USA, and will continue to take part in the future.
