Max’s Magic Money Fund
Max's Magic Money Fund (MMMF) was called into existence for those donors that cannot or do not want to select one single project, but do want to be informed about where their money is going. One 100% of the donations made to the MMMF are used to support the projects that need it the most, whether due to unforeseen expenses or to round out the financing. Just as with regular project donations, no overhead costs are deducted, and the donors receive clear reporting, keeping them updated on what aid their contribution helped provide.
In 2007, MMMF was used for the Street Children Programme in Nepal, the Ecological Park for street children in India, the Child Watabaran Centre (Nepal), the Apanjan home for girls with a physical or mental handicap (India), support for children affected by HIV/AIDS (India) and IT education (Gambia). The fund was addressed to the amount of € 25,933.29. With an initial balance of € 15,948.48 in January of this year and € 12,765.89 in income over 2007, the reserves amount to € 2,781.08 at the end of the financial year.
