Framework and definitions

The results per project will be presented in the following pages. A brief description of each project will be given. For infrastructure projects, the number of children is only counted for one year, while over time many more will profit from such projects.

The budget listed is for the contracted amount in the reporting period. The contract period may deviate from the reporting period. The results listed are those actually achieved in the reporting year. If a project is contracted in the reporting year, but implementation only occurs in the following year, it is not included in the reporting period.

Regarding project impact, we have provided an impression of what the aid means to individual children in concrete terms wherever possible.
