Management team
Net4kids has no statutory management. A central board is responsible for running the foundation. The management team is the executive body of Net4kids.
2006 was a turbulent year for the management team, with a number of temporary and permanent changes:
- Loek van den Boog passed the General Management torch to Juul Coumans in May. Given his appointment as CEO of Cordys, Loek also stepped down from his task as Fundraising Head. Rieteke Roelofs has taken on those tasks until a structural alternative has been found.
- Emilie van Rappard stepped down as Marketing and Communication Manager in the second half of 2006 due to pregnancy (leave). She was replaced by Gijs de Bruijn for the duration.
- Marijke Hulskamp laid down her functions as team support and management team member in November, and will resume her work at Net4kids in a different function after her pregnancy leave. Anke van den Boog will take on her tasks temporarily.

It is clear that the numerous changes within the core team affected the effectiveness of the organisations. On the other hand, the need for further definition and structuring was only emphasised, which we hope will result in laying more solid foundations for the future.
Each member of the management team has a clearly defined set of tasks, and is supported in their execution by teams of professional volunteers.
