We use PR to increase familiarity with the concept, emphasizing the four pillars. However, name recognition alone does not draw in sufficient new donors. PR must be applied in combination with other channels and activities to achieve its full potential. Over the past year, we have therefore worked on developing a new campaign strategy for Net4kids, which we hope to implement in 2007 via a free spot advertising campaign.
 
In total, Net4kids was mentioned in the media 77 times in 2006, 17 times in business magazines. With 52 press mentions in 2005 (and 30 in 2004), this represents an increase in press attention of 68%. Increased press attention is the result of 17 press releases, but also of a strengthened press lobby in a market that is increasingly demanding transparency and involvement from charitable causes.
