The average business donation fell from € 7,908 to € 6,810. The average private donation dropped even further, from € 1,174 to € 463. An explanation for the decrease is the fact that Net4kids received two major donation commitments from businesses (CapGemini and Leaseplan) that have only partly been included in the donations for 2006. If these commitments had been included in the ‘donation turnover’ for 2006, the average business donation would have displayed a strong increase.
