The aim of the G-Star Raw Denim Foundation (GSRD Foundation) is to make a valuable contribution to the development and economic independence of people in those countries where G-Star manufactures its products by supporting:

1. Children and young people, by providing education and/or other vocational training, that will help them and their families to have a better future.

2. Entrepreneurs to fulfill their business dreams. The GSRD Foundation encourages people with great ideas to start a business by providing grants, loans and knowledge.

India: Bridge school education for former child labourers

The Tirupur region in southern India is known for its garment industry. As a result of this industry, the region also struggles with the problems associated with child labour. SAVE runs programmes to eradicate child labour practices and is committed to children's rights by operating educational centres, which are known as bridge schools. Read more >

India: Ecopark

The goal of this project is to provide street children with direction, and teach them to reintegrate into society in a healthy manner. Thanks to this initiative, more or less 100 street children each year receive food and shelter. Read more >

India: Rainbow Homes

Every day and night, thousands of girls aged 4 -18 have to survive on the streets of Calcutta and Delhi. They're at risk of being harassed, exploited and abused in all sorts of ways. They are seemingly unwanted and completely unprotected. But instead of being a major problem for society, these children can develop their talents as well as their personality and grow up to be build a normal life for themselves and be responsible citizens. India: Rainbow Hyderabad homes

The project’s most important goal is to provide shelter and education to children who would otherwise live on the streets. Due to individual care, attention and interaction with other children, they are given the opportunity to develop themselves. Read more >

India: Vocational training centre

SAVE provides vocational training at the SAVE Ecopark to 100 street children and young adolescents. These children have been rescued from child labour. Read more >

Max Magic Money Fund

Max's Magic Money Fund exists for projects that face unexpected costs or projects we couldn't find funds for. A flexible reserve for aid projects that could use some extra support. Read more >

Project-related costs

Net4kids employs unique transparent individual flows of funds. Our donors make an additional transparent payment in the amount of 12% of the project-related costs so that the quality of the child welfare project you select can be monitored and its results can be reported directly to you as a donor at your own MyNet4kids site.
