Net4kids is different. We think and work differently. In everything we do, we strive to create maximum transparency and involvement. To keep everything transparent, we have deliberately chosen to split up the various activities and funding flows and grouped them under three legal entities. A financial report is drawn up for each of these foundations, but naturally the primary focus remains the Net4kids Aid Foundation.
All contracts and donations for the children’s aid projects go through the Net4kids Aid Foundation. This means that 100% of all funds donated to us – your money – goes to the on-site
children’s aid projects. This approach is clear-cut, transparent and responsible.
The Net4kids Organisation bears all expenses and develops all activities necessary to continue to facilitate concrete, quality children’s aid. Our expenses are straightforward and transparent – certainly when compared to normal charities. We ask donors to help us provide continuous and quality aid for the children. The additional 12% on top of the project donation is intended to sponsor the
organisation in paying for project-related organisational expenses, a small permanent team and Internet technology. To cover the remaining expenses, we rely on organisational investors, donors and sponsors, who make an important contribution in the form of cash, goods or services.
The Net4kids Continuity Fund is the guarantee fund that guarantees coverage for the projects and replenishes the organisational costs when needed. The necessary funding comes from gifts made to the fund and the return on the capital (interim or otherwise) made available to the Net4kids Continuity Fund for that purpose.
