The Net4kids office is located in Amsterdam in the DLA Piper building. DLA Piper sponsors Net4kids by offering free office and meeting space. At our office, located just off the A10 (S108) highway, we work in varying combinations and in flexi-places. Both our paid and pro bono team members work together from the office and from home on Net4kids tasks, including project management, fundraising, account management, marketing, communication, finance, HR and IT.

Professional volunteer work
Since we continue to grow rapidly, we almost always have job opportunities available for professional volunteers. We have two types of volunteers. The first group is individuals who want to make a concrete contribution to our results on a long-term basis and take on concrete tasks, authorities and responsibilities. We call these types of volunteers ‘team members’. They contribute substantially to our daily goings on, usually for only a few hours a week. The second group comprises ‘contributors’, people who we turn to when their specific expertise is needed and/or people who spot opportunities for us proactively, such as new donors or collaboration opportunities. Around 90% of our team is currently made up of volunteers, each and every one of whom combines this work with a busy career and home life. Not only do we believe strongly in this model because it keeps costs low and provides us with access to talent we otherwise would never be able to pay for, but we also believe in the passion and pleasure that goes hand and hand with volunteer work.
