Net4kids shifts focus to business marketAmsterdam, November 18, 2009
Net4kids, the not for profit internetplatform for tangible child aid has shifted focus towards the business market. This change to target the Corporate Charity policy of businesses comes at the same time as the appointment of the new Managing Director Odette van Zijdveld and the new Marketing Manager Suzanne Glorie.
Corporate Charity
Net4kids wants to contribute to the direction and interpretation of organisations' Corporate Charity policy. This means that Net4kids not only connects organisations to child aid projects in developing countries but also helps defining a charity approach that fits the company's business goals.
In close cooperation with the customer Net4kids finds projects that perfectly fit the company's aid vision and business goals.
Odette van Zijdveld, Managing Director of Net4kids: "Some customers have specific demands with regards to the projects they would like to support. One of our customers, Oxxio, for example, wanted to support energy projects that children would benefit from. We were able to find those projects for them. We go on where other charity organisations stop. We do not only raise funds for child aid but also closely involve our donors with the projects en make sure their support gets anchored on a strategic level. Thanks to our extensive knowledge and experience we are able to play an important role in defining a company's Corporate Charity policy. At Oxxio it resulted in a consumer campaign where Oxxio customers are able to follow the progress of the supported projects via www.oxxio4kids.nl".
Clear return on investment
Not all organisations that are interested in supporting child aid projects know how to find Net4kids. With the new positioning Net4kids better reaches the target audience. Loek van den Boog, founder and chairman of Net4kids: "Net4kids wants to be the most business focused platform in tangible child aid and combines passion with business benefits. Through our extensive service portfolio including reporting, communication and infrastructure we enable companies to take charity further than just giving money and realise business benefits like for example improvement of employee motivation and increase of customer retention. This way Corporate Charity delivers business benefits and generates clear return on investment".
